This ski is in fair condition, has wear from normal use, scratches and multiple minor chips to the topsheet, with some repaired scratches to the bases. A great ski for a great deal! Other than offering metal and non-metal versions, the all new FX series skis now features tail rocker. This will create a much easier exit to the turn than the FX models of old. These skis have a new Kadura topsheet which is more resistant to scratching. Hollowtech 2.0 is a bigger Hollowtech oval at the tip for even greater weight reduction. If you enjoyed the old model certainly stick to the HP, but if you found the old FX to be a lot of work or plan to tour a lot on the ski, the FX85 is sure not to disappoint.
