Vintage 1974 Caravelle 666 Feet Diver withMint Dial, Patina, All SS Case, Runs Strong

This vintage 1974 Caravelle has a matte black dial that is in pristine condition, free of any visibly noticeable scratching, tool marks, chipping or defects. The original lume on the dial and hands, which remains fully intact and emits a quick-burst glow on the hands only after being exposed to bright light, has aged to a golden buttermilk hue. The vibrant orange seconds hand complements the dial and patina beautifully. The bezel, which rotates a bit stiffly bidirectionally, is in excellent condition as is the jet black insert. The heavy duty all stainless steel case shows minor wear with the exception of a ding on the chamfer above the bottom right lug. The case shows no signs of oxidation. The outer edge of the case back is stamped “CARAVELLE SHOCK RESISTANT WATER-RESISTANT TO 666 FEET STAINLESS STEEL ANTI MAGNETIC” with “N 4″ stamped along the inner edge. The inside of the case back is stamped “3286-DP” followed by “CARAVELLE DIV, “B. The crystal shows scratching and some dust/debris on its underbelly. The 17 jewels unadjusted Japan “II DP” and “N 4″ stamped manual wind movement is clean, runs strong and keeps accurate time. After recently winding the sharply threaded, non-screwdown “C” signed crown 45 full revolutions (phenomenal for a manual wind) the movement had an impressive power reserve of approximately 41 hours. Given that this watch is 45 years old and the movement shows no signs of ever having been serviced (there are no visible watchmaker service markings on the inside of the case back or on the movement) a complete overhaul is recommended. This watch measures approximately 36 mm excluding the crown, approximately 39 mm including the crown and approximately 19 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 9 mm. Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 10.5 mm. Given the vintage nature of this watch and considering that the movement has likely never been serviced a complete overhaul is recommended. As such there are no warranties, express or implied, attached with the sale of this watch. Vintage means old and while my personal belief is that old school means better quality and workmanship, things can and do go wrong from time to time. Any servicing costs going forward are your responsibility. And please study the 12 high magnification pictures carefully as they are part of the description and serve as an accurate representation of the condition of this watch. Vintage Paul Peugeot Divers/Diving Watch withMint Dial, Countdown Bezel, All SS Case

This classy vintage Paul Peugeot is absolutely stunning and it appears to be in untouched condition. The glossy black dial is pristine, free of any visible scratching, tool marks or defects. The original tritium on the dial has aged to a deep golden butterscotch hue while the original tritium on the hands has developed a slightly lighter patina. This subtle difference in patina makes for a truly beautiful contrast. The metal on the hands has corroded slightly over the past several decades, adding character and charm to the watch. The tritium on the dial and hands, which remains fully intact, emits a faint, short-lived glow after being exposed to bright light. The faded black countdown bezel, which smoothly rotates bidirectionally, is in great shape and in certain lighting conditions appears to be dark chocolate brown in color. The all stainless steel case, which still retains its original satin finish, shows virtually no signs of use and is free of any dents or dings. The outer edge of the case back is engraved “SHOCKRESISTANT ANTIMAGNETIC ALL STAINLESS STEEL” with “TESTED TO A DEPTH OF 600 FEET 100% WATERPROOF AND CONDENSATION PROOF” engraved along the inner edge. The inside of the case back is engraved CONDE CO. ” followed by “CASE MADE IN HONGKONG. ” Additionally the case is engraved “HONGKONG between the lugs at 12 o’clock. The crystal has minor scratches that can likely be polished out with Polywatch and or a light polishing. The 17 jewels Standard Time (ST) 92 manual wind movement is pristine and it appears to be untouched. After recently winding the crown 15 full revolutions the watch had a healthy power reserve of approximately 31 hours. The sharply threaded, non-dented original crown winds smoothly. Please note that at the end of the approximate 31 hour power reserve, the watch was running approximately an hour and ten minutes slow. Considering the vintage nature of this watch, that it is running slow and because it has likely never been serviced (there are no watchmaker service markings on the movement or on the inside of the case back), a complete overhaul is suggested. This watch measures approximately 37.5 mm excluding the crown, approximately 40.5 mm including the crown and approximately 17.5 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 10 mm. Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 12.5 mm. As mentioned above, given the vintage nature of this watch, that it likely has never been serviced and considering that it’s running slow, there are no warranties, express or implied, attached with the sale of this watch. Vintage means old and while my personal belief is that old-school means better quality and workmanship, things can and do go wrong from time to time. A full overhaul is recommended to keep this watching running strong. Any servicing costs going forward are your responsibility. And please study the 12 high magnification pictures carefully as they are part of the description and serve as an accurate representation of the condition of this watch. Rare Vint Seiko 70 Diver, 7019-6040, Proof-proof, Rotating Inr Bez, All Orig, Mint

YOU GOTTA LOVE THESE VINTAGE SEIKO EARLY AUTOMATIC DIVERS… Has inner rotating timer bezel. Don’t miss this one. BUILT IN DECEMBER 1970. IT IS AN ORIGINAL EXAMPLE IN TERRIFIC CONDITION OVERALL. THE WATCH FEATURES A BLACK DIAL WITH SILVER STICK MARKERS. THIS HANDSOME DIAL IS THE UNTOUCHED ORIGINAL IN SUPER CONDITION NO FADING, STAIN OR PATINA. THE HANDS ARE ALSO THE UNTOUCHED ORIGINAL SILVER STICK HANDS IN GOOD CONDITION WITH SOME MINOR LUME STAIN. THE DAY-DATE DISPLAY AT 3 O’CLOCK IS SET USING QUICKSET AND WORKS WELL. THE DAY LANGUAGE IS ENGLISH OR KANJI. THE ORIGINAL HARDEX GLASS CRYSTAL IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITHOUT ANY SCRATCHES. THE ORIGINAL INNER ROTATING ELAPSED TIME BEZEL IS IN VEXCELLENT CONDITION, AND ROTATES SMOOTHLY IN EITHER DIRECTION BY TURNING THE ORIGINAL CROWN. THE ORIGINAL SOLID STAINLESS STEEL CASE IS IN GREAT CONDITION WITH A FEW HAIRLINE SCRATCHES. THE STAINLESS STEEL BACK PLATE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION/. ALL MARKINGS ARE CLEAR AND EASY TO READ. THE ORIGINAL AND CORRECT SEIKO LOGOED STAINLESS STEEL BRACELET IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION AND WILL FIT UP TO A 7 1/2 WRIST. THE ORIGINAL BRACLET ADDS VALUE TO A VINTAGE TIMEPIECE. THE WATCH WAS RECENTLY SERVICED AND TIMED. IT WAS FOUND TO KEEP VERY GOOD TIME FOR A VINTAGE AUTOMATIC WATCH. IT IS A MEN’S SIZED WATCH AT 41MM ACROSS, NOT INCLUDING THE ORIGINAL STAINLESS STEEL CROWN, x 43 MM LUG TO LUG. PRODUCTION DATE OF OF DEC 1970. Thanks to my friend Glenn for his EXPERTISE on these vintage timepieces. Seiko introduced a lot of different “Sport Diver” lines, so-called because of their use of the term “Sports” on the dial. These generally were not true divers, but rated at 70M and sharing some features of a true diver, such as this watch The 7019 is a particularly hard-to-find, I dare say “rare” line of these watches(especia;y a 6010), when compared to the much more common 6106/6119 lines and the also rare, but still more common 5126 w. Clusively “JDM, ” or “Japanese Domestic Model” line, reflected by the day wheel’s languages of English and Kanji, also regarded as a big perk by collectors. THIS A VERY RARE VINTAGE SEIKO MEN’S 70 METER SPORT DIVER, ONE OF THE UNIQUE 21 JEWEL MODELS, IN AN ORIGINAL UN-MOLESTED COLLECTORS CONDITION, A HARD TO FIND WATCH. Most coming from overseas. Beware, as many are junk and have parts pieced together from many different watches. Not easy to return these Junk timepieces. At least I know where my watches come from and what’s inside them. BECAUSE IT IS A VINTAGE AUTOMATIC WATCH, THERE IS GOING TO BE DIMINISHED RESERVE POWER(HOW LONG IT RUNS WHEN IT IS TAKEN OFF THE WRIST). THIS IS A VERY COMMON ISSUE WITH MOSTLY ALL VINTAGE AUTOMATICS.. MANY NEW ONES CAN GET UP TO 40HRS RUNNING OFF THE WRIST. DO NOT EXPECT MORE THEN 8-12 HRS RUNNING WHEN OFF. Please remember these are NOT new automatic watches even though they were serviced, you will have to gently shake the watch in a clockwise or counter clockwise movement to get the rotor working properly. This is especially true when the watch has not been worn for some time. Reserve power has to build up for sometime to keep the watch running when not worn.. JUST A PERSONAL NOTE ABOUT THIS WATCH. DURING THIS TIME I HAVE FOUND OUT THAT I CANNOT MAKE EVERYBODY HAPPY lol.. IF ITEM IS NOT AS DESCRIBED OR DAMAGED. I always try to deal with my customers professionally, and ask that they extend me the same courtesy. The item “RARE VINT SEIKO 70 DIVER, 7019-6040, PROOF-PROOF, ROTATING INR BEZ, ALL ORIG, MINT” is in sale since Tuesday, December 11, 2018. This item is in the category “Jewelry & Watches\Watches, Parts & Accessories\Wristwatches”. The seller is “ber11566″ and is located in Monroe Township, New Jersey. This item can be shipped worldwide.

Burton Skeleton Key Review Men S All Mountain Winner Good Wood Snowboard Test 2018 2019
Vintage Seiko Pogue 6139-6005 Chronograph withMint Blue Dial, Divers All SS Case

While the movement runs strong and keeps accurate time, the quickset day and date functions work as they should and the inner bezel turns bidirectionally, the top pusher is stuck. It had been working perfectly fine before becoming stuck, starting and stopping the minute register and sweep seconds hand while the bottom pusher reset them back to precisely zero. Given this and considering that the movement shows no signs of ever having been serviced a complete overhaul is required. Picture #1 was taken in sunlight while the rest of the pictures were taken in cloudy, overcast conditions. The original lume on the dial and hands, which emits a quick-burst glow after being exposed to bright light, has aged to a perfectly matching toasted warm buttermilk hue. The fixed Pepsi bezel looks great. The all stainless steel is in excellent condition showing minor wear, no visibly significant dents or dings and is free of oxidation. The inside of the case back is stamped SEIKO TIME CORP. The crystal shows heavy scratching. The 17 jewels unadjusted SEIKO TIME CORP. Stamped 6139B automatic movement runs strong and keeps accurate time when being worn. Please note that this particular movement does not run respond to winding the crown. Instead it fires up after being gently shaken and or spun face down on a soft, flat surface. It stays running when being worn. If the crown is turned clockwise or counterclockwise the inner bezel will move in the intended direction. The day and date functions work flawlessly by pushing the crown all the way in to change both the day and date in tandem. To change only the date the crown needs to be partially pressed in. The day window is in both English and Spanish. I’d humbly suggest that the crown be pushed all the way in to get to the correct day and then partially press in the crown to advance to the correct date. The chronograph functions had worked perfectly until recently when the top pusher decided to stay stuck and not depress. Given this and considering that the movement shows no signs of ever having been serviced (there are no visible watchmaker service markings on the inside of the case back or on the movement) a complete overhaul is required. This watch measures approximately 40 mm including the crown and approximately 19 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 11 mm. Including the crystal thickness measures approximately 12 mm. Given the vintage nature of this watch, that the top pusher is stuck and considering that the movement shows no signs of ever having been serviced a complete overhaul is required. As such there are no warranties, express or implied, attached with the sale of this watch. Vintage means old and while my personal belief is that old-school means better quality and workmanship, things can and do go wrong from time to time. For this watch that time is now. Vintage 1976 Bulova Caravelle Diver withMint Dial, Patina, All SS Case, Runs Strong

After winding the crown I’ve found it necessary to gently spin the watch face down on a soft, flat surface in order to jump-start the movement. Once it gets going I’ve observed the movement keep accurate time over an approximate 38 hour power reserve period. This vintage 1976 Bulova Caravelle diver has a gray dial that is in pristine condition, free of any visibly noticeable scratching, tool marks, chipping or defects. In my humble opinion it presents much better in person than in the pictures. The original lume on the dial and hands, which emits a quick-burst glow after being exposed to bright light, has aged to a perfectly matching warm buttermilk hue. The bezel , which should rotate but does not likely due to gunk buildup underneath , has aged to a lovely pink and black color combination. The beautifully cut all stainless steel case is in excellent condition showing minor wear and no signs of oxidation. The inside of the case back is stamped “Q 106″ followed by “CARAVELLE WATCH DIVISION, “BULOVA WATCH CO. The crystal shows scratching and some dust/debris on its underbelly. The 17 jewels unadjusted “II DP” and “N 5″ stamped manual wind movement is clean and keeps accurate time. After winding the sharply threaded, non-screwdown crown 35 full revolutions the movement had an impressive power reserve of approximately 38 hours. Please note that I’ve found it necessary to gently spin the watch face down on a soft, flat surface after winding the crown in order to jump-start the movement. Given that the movement shows no signs of ever having been serviced (there are no watchmaker service markings on the inside of the case back) a complete overhaul is recommended. This watch measures approximately 36 mm excluding the crown, approximately 39.5 mm including the crown and approximately 19.5 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 9 mm. Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 10.5 mm. Given that the movement appears to have never been serviced a complete overhaul is recommended. As such no warranties, express or implied, are attached with the sale of this watch. Vintage means old and while my personal belief is that old-school means better quality and workmanship, things can and do go wrong from time to time. Any servicing costs going forward are your responsibility. Vintage Elgin Day-Date Divers Watch withMint Dial, Patina, Faded Bezel, All SS Case

While this watch has a solid power reserve of over 38 hours and keeps near perfect time, the original crown is a bit finicky. With the crown pulled out and when turning the hands clockwise to set the time, if the crown is turned too quickly it will come unscrewed. When this happens I gently wind the crown counter-clockwise to re-engage the crown and then push the crown in so that it is flush with the case. I then turn the crown counter-clockwise with a little more torque to further tighten up it. There are no issues winding the crown counter-clockwise. Given the age of this watch and considering that it appears to have only been serviced once in its lifetime, a complete overhaul is suggested. This classy vintage M-135 Elgin is beautiful. The matte black Germany signed dial is pristine, free of any scratches, tool marks or defects. The original tritium on the dial and hands, which emits a faint, short-lived glow after being exposed to bright light, is fully intact, matches perfectly and has developed a warm French vanilla patina. The vibrant orange seconds hand gives off a lively energy and complements the patina of the dial and hands nicely. The bezel rotates bidirectionally and has aged to a lovely faded light pink and baby blue hue. The all stainless steel case still retains its original brushed satin finish and is in good shape, free of any significant dents or dings. The outside of the case back, which reads “Elgin” followed by “Stainless Steel, ” has some marks on it and the inside of the case back reads “Graber” followed by “Switzerland” and 4156. This watch comes on an original JB Champion Stainless Steel USA bracelet which is in wonderful condition, having little stretch. In the photos it appears that the top right bracelet link to the left of the 6 o’clock lug is cracked when in reality it is a small gouge that has not broken through the steel. The bracelet is currently on the lowest of 7 clasp settings and is loose on my 6.5 inch wrist. The crystal has gouging/scratching which will likely not be completely removed with Polywatch and or a polish. Please note that while the dial appears to be in mint condition, some dust/debris has gotten between the crystal and crystal ring, settling on the underbelly of the crystal. The late 1960’s 25 jewels PUW 1363 patented “M 135″ signed automatic movement looks great. While this watch keeps near perfect time and can be wound normally when the sharply threaded and non-dented original crown is flush to the case, the crown has a tendency to come unscrewed when it is pulled out and turned clockwise too quickly. The movement has a very healthy power reserve of approximately 38 hours after recently winding the crown 39 full revolutions and keeps accurate time with the black day, red date wheels rolling over as they should. A complete overhaul is suggested considering that this watch appears to have only been serviced once in its lifetime (lone watchmaker service marking on the inside of the case back) and to resolve the fussiness of the crown. This watch measures approximately 36.5 mm excluding the crown, approximately 40 mm including the crown and approximately 19 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 8.5 mm. Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 11.5 mm. As mentioned above, considering that this is a vintage watch that has likely only been serviced once in its lifetime and given the stem/crown issue, a service is recommended. As such there are no warranties, express or implied, attached with the sale of this watch. Vintage means old, and while my personal belief is that old-school means better quality and workmanship, things can and do go wrong from time to time. For this particular watch that time is now. Vintage Le Forban D. M. S. 15 ATM Diver withMint Dial, All SS Case, Runs FOR REPAIR

FOR REPAIR – while the date and time can be set without issue and the movement runs, the crown does not wind as it should. Specifically, when winding the crown it does not regularly engage the movement and after every several revolutions there is a relatively loud clicking sound. Although the movement will initially fire up when setting the time, when the crown is wound (and even though it doesn’t sound as though the stem is engaging the movement) I’ve observed the movement run continuously for up to a few hours, keeping accurate time during that period. But if the crown continues to be wound until there is that clicking sound referenced above the seconds hand tends to stop abruptly. Judging by the pristine condition of the dial it’s likely that the movement has never been serviced. A complete overhaul is required. This Le Forban Securite-Mer 15 ATM diver is a wonderful example of a reference not often seen. The glossy black D. Stamped dial looks untouched and is in mint condition, free of any visibly noticeable scratching, tool marks, chipping or defects. The original lume, which remains fully intact, emits a quick-burst glow on the hands only after being exposed to bright light. The black bezel, which rotates bidirectionally with an appropriate amount of tension, looks spectacular with the lume in the inverted triangle having aged to a beautiful creme brulee hue. The stainless steel case is in excellent condition, showing light wear with very minor signs of oxidation. The outer edge of the case back is stamped “ETANCHE A 15 ATMOSPHERES 100%” with “LE FORBAN” followed by “Securite mer” and “49957” stamped in the center. The crystal shows scratching. A skilled watchmaker will have no problem doing so. Given that I have only been able to get the movement going by setting the time and winding the crown (gently shaking and or spinning the watch face down on a soft, flat surface does not get the seconds hand moving) the movement should be a manual wind. There is no quickset date function. Given that the crown does not wind as it should and considering that the movement has likely never been serviced a complete overhaul is required. This watch measures approximately 37 mm excluding the crown, approximately 40.5 mm including the crown and approximately 20 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 8 mm. Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 10 mm. Given the issue with the crown/stem and considering that the movement has likely never been serviced a complete overhaul is required. As such there are no warranties, express or implied, attached with the sale of this watch. Vintage means old and while my personal belief is that old-school means better quality and workmanship, things can and do go wrong from time to time. For this watch that time is now. Any servicing costs going forward are your responsibility. And please study the 12 high magnification pictures carefully as they are part of the description and serve as an accurate representation of the condition of this watch.
