1994 Burton Big Air 178cm 7.8 SNOWBOARD good condition. This board has a big nose. It’s for floating big powder and blazing untracked snow. I blazed many trails with this board… And got a lot of buddies stuck in deep pow too. Because THEIR boards did NOT have a big enough nose OR were too short for pow! This Burton Big Air 178 is a classic directional board with a big nose and the biggest “Big Air” model ever made. It does have “reverse”, but it is meant to go one direction. Also a great backcountry or sidecountry board for blazing trails in untracked powder in the woods. Several scratches and nicks on the deck edges but nothing major. No repairs needed or done. Edges are very good; I do not abuse my snowboards. Still has wax on it from the 2/21/19 powder session on Mt. I know how to wax a board and have never overheated the base. Yes, it has the “axes” (steel caps) on both the tip and tail. Wood core, made in Vermont. These are getting harder and harder to find and so are now somewhat collectible. Somebody is going to get a good classic powder board. Excellent board for heavy pow in Oregon, and Colorado and Utah especially. My best times on this board have been in the Northwest Territory of Mt. So it’s great for gradual slopes as well as steep and deep. The MLY 164 Maverick is made in Oregon, in very good condition, a great all-mountain board. Edges are sharp, deck has some obvious scratches and nicks on the edges but nothing serious. No repairs done or necessary. It would be a great first board for an athletic adult, nice backup or guest board for visitors. This used to be my primary board for Mt. (and pay right away) and I will.
