This is a pair of 1953 10th Mountain Division Skis that have never been used and also include the unused bindings that are still in the box! Made by the Paris Manufacturing Company. These antique skis are 7’0 tall (approx 213 cm) and will look amazing displayed in your house, cabin, lodge or wherever! Never been used, but the yellowing of the color shows their age and uniqueness. Display them as is or add the bindings if you desire.

This Complete Tinder Box Kit Includes. 10 Circular Pieces of Cotton Tinder, 2 Strap Tinder, a Steel Striker, a Solid Copper Candle Holder, 3.5 Wax Candle, and a Piece of Flint. (All Contents Fit Inside of the Brass Box). Vintage Domed Tinder Box is Hand Made; Brass with Tin-Lined Interior, Hinged, All Seams are Soldered, One of a Kind. Candle Holder is Hand Made, Cast in Copper, c. Tinder Box is 4 in Diameter x. Prior to the invention of the friction match in 1826, tinder boxes were used by trappers, traders, soldiers, and frontiersman to store fire starting supplies–flint, steel, and lamp oil soaked tinder. Sparks were struck with the steel striker against the flint aiming into the piece of lamp oil soaked tinder which was still inside the box. When a fire started on the tinder, the candle was then lit and the tinder was dumped out. The candle would be used to light a wood fire.
