This twin-tip, traditional camber board with a medium flex (think 5 out of 10) can handle it all. The only place we cut corners on this snowboard is with the graphics. This sandwich construction board with triaxial fiberglas brings you the perfect mix of flex for buttering that muffin without sacrificing any sprock or stability. This board performs at a high level in the park, on the pipe, floating groomers or in the backcountry. Our snowboards are so affordable because you aren’t paying for the corporate overhead, flashy graphics, pro name or retail markup that comes standard with other boards. You get a quality board without the glam. Boots and bindings are not included. Blank snowboards are compatible with standard 4-hole pattern snowboard bindings. Blank snowboards use sandwich construction, unlike the cheaper cap construction used in the manufacturing of many other snowboards, but for a similar price. Blank combines the finest materials including a 100% poplar wood core, triaxial fiberglass, PE topsheet, rubber foil, ABS sidewalls, extruded base and a Rockwell stainless steel edge. In a retail store, a snowboard made with the same materials would cost around twice the price of a Blank snowboard. That’s because you’re also paying for retail markup, a graphic you may not even like, and someone else’s sponsorship. These snowboards feature “traditional” or “positive” camber which evolved from ski design and was actually the only available bend until recent years. The center of a traditional snowboard has a slight arch which causes the tip and tail to touch the ground while the center is raised. Once the rider applies their weight to the board the arch flattens and the full edge makes contact the snow. This allows for more powerful and precise turning, more “pop”, and greater control at high speeds. Traditional camber boards are preferred for all-mountain and free-ride styles and by experienced riders that enjoy fast speeds. I LOVE my new board. It’s got just the right amount of flex for me, it’s super light and everyone who sees my board thinks the graphic-less white is the coolest thing ever. I didn’t really know what to expect from Blank but now I can proudly say that it’s the best board I have ever received. Not only is it well made but it’s characteristics such as the flex and size are tweaked to perfection. And I’m a graphic designer, I wanted my board to be unique, and I didn’t want to pay for a graphic job from someone else when I could do it myself and make it my own. And that’s just what I did. I got a quality board at an amazing price and I couldn’t be more satisfied. I figured it would make for a good beater board I could use in the early and late season but I was very surprised by how well it rode.
