They have visible scratches on the top sheets but are in overall good cosmetic condition, and in great performing condition. I’ve skied them many times. They have been recently sharpened and tuned. If you’re an all mountain rider, looking for stability, speed and advanced vibration dampening, this is your setup. Magnum skis employ some pretty advanced technology to make for a comfortable and reliable ride. The KERS-Kinetic Energy Recovery System, the Supershape Cut, 177/122 71 108 R:14.7 combine to create a responsive, stable ride for the all mountain skier. These were very lightly used a dozen times by a snowboarder who bought them to ski with his family when they came into town. They have all of their useful life remaining. This ski employs KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System)-a chip located near the heel of the binding coverts vibrations of the ski into electrical energy that’s then released intotreactive fibers in the tail of the ski. As vibrations increase, the fibers stiffen to increase acceleration and rebound out of a turn-like a turbo-charger for your skis. Similarly, Intelligence Technology uses fibers placed in an argyle pattern in the core, in front of the binding. At faster speeds, vibrations are converted into electrical energy, and the forefront of the ski stiffens up. At slower speeds, the fibers stay limp, making it easier to manipulate.
