This seldom seen Baume & Mercier has a matte black “T-SWISS MADE-T” signed dial that is in pristine condition, free of any scratching, tool marks, chipping or defects. Please note that there is some dust/debris on the underbelly of the crystal and to a lesser degree the dial. The tritium, which remains fully intact and emits a quick-burst glow on the dial only after being exposed to bright light, has aged nicely. The black bezel, which rotates very stiffly, presents beautifully. The all stainless steel case is in excellent condition showing minor wear and very light signs of oxidation. The outer edge of the case back is stamped “STAINLESS STEEL AUTOMATIC SWISS MADE SKIN DIVER 12 ATMOSPHERES WATERPROOF INCABLOC” with some difficult to read number stamped along the inner edge. The inside of the case back is stamped “MODELE” followed by MLB. The crystal shows light crazing and scratching as well as some dust/debris on its underbelly. The quickset date function works flawlessly by manually rolling over a new date and then repeatedly moving the hour hand between the 20.5 and 24 hour marks until the desired date has been reached. After recently winding the sharply threaded, non-screwdown crown 39 full revolutions the movement had an impressive power reserve of approximately 43 hours. The crown winds smoothly. Given that this watch is more than 45 years old and considering that the movement appears to have been last serviced in 1986 (the lone etching “3-29-86 ABE” on the inside of the case back is likely a watchmaker service marking) a complete overhaul is recommended. This watch measures approximately 34 mm excluding the crown, approximately 37.5 mm including the crown and approximately 20 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 8 mm. Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 10.5 mm. Given the vintage nature of this watch and considering that the movement appears to have been last serviced more than 33 years ago a complete overhaul is recommended. This vintage 1970’s Omega Genève Chronometer has a satin blue “- SWISS MADE -” signed dial that is in pristine condition, free of any scratching, tool marks, chipping or defects. Any imperfections seen are on the crystal. The original lume on the dial and hands, which remains fully intact and no longer emits a glow after being exposed to bright light, has aged to a perfectly matching warm butterscotch hue. The heavy duty all stainless steel case is beautifully cut and in excellent condition, showing light wear, minor dings and no signs of oxidation. The inside of the case back is stamped “OMEGA WATCH Co” followed by FAB. SUISSE, SWISS MADE, ACIER, INOXYABLE, 198. 020″ and “MOVEMENT LICENSED BULOVA & PAT (ESA). The crystal, with the Omega logo etched in the center, shows light scratching and some dust/debris on its underbelly that is nearly visibly imperceptible in person. The 12 jewels unadjusted “Omega 1260″ stamped electronically controlled tuning fork movement with quickset day and date functions is clean, keeps accurate time and both the day and date wheels roll over as they should. After pulling out the crown to the first position, the quickset day function works by slowly turning the crown clockwise (date will also change) while the date can be set by slowly turning the crown counterclockwise (day will not change if the crown is turned slowly). The sharply threaded, original Omega signed non-screwdown crown pulls out and sets the date and time without issue. Although this watch runs strong and keeps perfect time, considering the movement’s unknown service history (there is one visible watchmaker service markings on the inside of the case back) and because it is unknown when the battery was last replaced, a complete overhaul is recommended to keep it running strong. This watch measures approximately 40 mm excluding the crown, approximately 42 mm including the crown and and approximately 20 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the mid-case, is approximately 9 mm. Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 11 mm. This watch comes on its original bracelet that is in beautiful condition with nearly no stretch. The inside of the clasp is stamped “32, “”STAINLESS STEEL, “”1196/210″ and “OMEGA” with the Omega emblem stamped on the outside of the buckle. The buckle snaps tightly shut as it should. There are no spare links. This band is a bit loose on my approximate 6.5 inch wrist while currently set on the third loosest buckle adjustment. It should comfortably accommodate a 7 inch wrist and possibly larger. Although this watch currently runs strong and keeps perfect time, given that it is more than 40 years old and considering the movement’s unknown service history shows and when the battery was last replaced, a complete overhaul is recommended. Vintage Elgin M135 Day-Date Diver withMint Dial, Warm Patina, All SS Case, PUW 1463

Considering that this watch has likely never been serviced, a complete overhaul is suggested. This vintage Elgin M135 is in wonderful condition. The matte black dial is pristine, free of any scratches, tool marks or defects. The original tritium on the dial and hands, which is fully intact and emits a faint, short-lived glow after being exposed to bright light, has aged to a toasted French vanilla hue. The orange seconds hand has faded to a slightly lighter shade than the vibrant orange found on the bezel, creating a beautiful contrast and giving the dial a wonderful energy. The orange and black bezel looks great and rotates bidirectionally. The all stainless steel case is very clean, showing minor signs of use and still retaining its original brushed satin finish. It is free of any noticeable dents or dings. The case back is stamped “ELGIN” followed by “STAINLESS STEEL” while the inside of the case back is stamped “GRABER” followed by “SWITZERLAND” and 4156. The crystal has light scratching. Please note that there is some minor oxidation on the retaining ring (to the left and right above 1 o’clock), which can likely be removed with a wirebrush during service. Additionally, while the dial appears flawless, over time some dust/debris has gotten between the retaining ring and crystal, settling on the underbelly of the crystal and to a lesser degree the dial. This dust/debris can be easily and quickly removed by a watchmaker using some Rodico and or a dial brush. On the wrist the dial looks spectacular, with the dust/debris being visually imperceptible. The 25 jewels PUW 1463 patented automatic movement with quickset date is lovely and keeps accurate time. Please refer to the asterisked section at the top and bottom of this listing description for more details. After recently winding the crown 39 full revolutions the watch had a very healthy power reserve of approximately 37 hours. The sharply threaded, non-dented crown winds buttery smooth. The quickset date function works by repeatedly moving the hour hand between hours 20 and 24 until arriving at the desired date. This watch measures approximately 36.5 mm excluding the crown, approximately 39.5 mm including the crown and approximately 19 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 9.5 mm. Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 11 mm. FOR REPAIR – while the date and time can be set without issue and the movement runs, the crown does not wind as it should. Specifically, when winding the crown it does not regularly engage the movement and after every several revolutions there is a relatively loud clicking sound. Although the movement will initially fire up when setting the time, when the crown is wound (and even though it doesn’t sound as though the stem is engaging the movement) I’ve observed the movement run continuously for up to a few hours, keeping accurate time during that period. But if the crown continues to be wound until there is that clicking sound referenced above the seconds hand tends to stop abruptly. Judging by the pristine condition of the dial it’s likely that the movement has never been serviced. A complete overhaul is required. This Le Forban Securite-Mer 15 ATM diver is a wonderful example of a reference not often seen. The glossy black D. Stamped dial looks untouched and is in mint condition, free of any visibly noticeable scratching, tool marks, chipping or defects. The original lume, which remains fully intact, emits a quick-burst glow on the hands only after being exposed to bright light. The black bezel, which rotates bidirectionally with an appropriate amount of tension, looks spectacular with the lume in the inverted triangle having aged to a beautiful creme brulee hue. The stainless steel case is in excellent condition, showing light wear with very minor signs of oxidation. The outer edge of the case back is stamped “ETANCHE A 15 ATMOSPHERES 100%” with “LE FORBAN” followed by “Securite mer” and “49957” stamped in the center. The crystal shows scratching. A skilled watchmaker will have no problem doing so. Given that I have only been able to get the movement going by setting the time and winding the crown (gently shaking and or spinning the watch face down on a soft, flat surface does not get the seconds hand moving) the movement should be a manual wind. There is no quickset date function. Given that the crown does not wind as it should and considering that the movement has likely never been serviced a complete overhaul is required. This watch measures approximately 37 mm excluding the crown, approximately 40.5 mm including the crown and approximately 20 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 8 mm. Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 10 mm. This Wittnauer Geneve 4000 has a matte black “T SWISS T” signed dial that is in pristine condition, free of any scratching, tool marks, chipping or defects. The original lume, which remains fully intact and no longer emits a glow after being exposed to bright light, has aged gracefully to an orange hue. The original stainless steel bezel, which does not rotate likely due to gunk buildup underneath , looks good. The all stainless steel case shows wear with no visible signs of oxidation. The outside of the case back is stamped “STAINLESS STEEL” with “WITTNAUER WATCH CO INC, “”SWISS” and “C 11 KS – 1 4000″ stamped on the inside of the case back. The crystal should be replaced. The 17 jewels unadjusted Swiss WITTNAUER WATCH Co. The quickset date function works flawlessly by repeatedly pressing firmly in on the crown until the desired date has been reached. An alternate quickset date function can be utilized by manually rolling over a new date and then repeatedly moving the hour hand between the 20 and 24 hour marks until the desired date has been reached. After recently winding the sharply threaded, non-screwdown replacement crown 38 full revolutions (impressive for a manual wind) the movement had a solid power reserve of approximately 42 hours. The crown winds smoothly. This seldom seen Baume & Mercier has a matte black “T-SWISS MADE-T” signed dial that is in pristine condition, free of any scratching, tool marks, chipping or defects. Please note that there is some dust/debris on the underbelly of the crystal and to a lesser degree the dial. The tritium, which remains fully intact and emits a quick-burst glow on the dial only after being exposed to bright light, has aged nicely. The black bezel, which rotates very stiffly, presents beautifully. The all stainless steel case is in excellent condition showing minor wear and very light signs of oxidation. The outer edge of the case back is stamped “STAINLESS STEEL AUTOMATIC SWISS MADE SKIN DIVER 12 ATMOSPHERES WATERPROOF INCABLOC” with some difficult to read number stamped along the inner edge. The inside of the case back is stamped “MODELE” followed by MLB. The crystal shows light crazing and scratching as well as some dust/debris on its underbelly. The quickset date function works flawlessly by manually rolling over a new date and then repeatedly moving the hour hand between the 20.5 and 24 hour marks until the desired date has been reached. After recently winding the sharply threaded, non-screwdown crown 39 full revolutions the movement had an impressive power reserve of approximately 43 hours. The crown winds smoothly. Given that this watch is more than 45 years old and considering that the movement appears to have been last serviced in 1986 (the lone etching “3-29-86 ABE” on the inside of the case back is likely a watchmaker service marking) a complete overhaul is recommended. This classy vintage Paul Peugeot is absolutely stunning and it appears to be in untouched condition. The glossy black dial is pristine, free of any visible scratching, tool marks or defects. The original tritium on the dial has aged to a deep golden butterscotch hue while the original tritium on the hands has developed a slightly lighter patina. This subtle difference in patina makes for a truly beautiful contrast. The metal on the hands has corroded slightly over the past several decades, adding character and charm to the watch. The tritium on the dial and hands, which remains fully intact, emits a faint, short-lived glow after being exposed to bright light. The faded black countdown bezel, which smoothly rotates bidirectionally, is in great shape and in certain lighting conditions appears to be dark chocolate brown in color. The all stainless steel case, which still retains its original satin finish, shows virtually no signs of use and is free of any dents or dings. The outer edge of the case back is engraved “SHOCKRESISTANT ANTIMAGNETIC ALL STAINLESS STEEL” with “TESTED TO A DEPTH OF 600 FEET 100% WATERPROOF AND CONDENSATION PROOF” engraved along the inner edge. The inside of the case back is engraved CONDE CO. ” followed by “CASE MADE IN HONGKONG. ” Additionally the case is engraved “HONGKONG between the lugs at 12 o’clock. The crystal has minor scratches that can likely be polished out with Polywatch and or a light polishing. The 17 jewels Standard Time (ST) 92 manual wind movement is pristine and it appears to be untouched. After recently winding the crown 15 full revolutions the watch had a healthy power reserve of approximately 31 hours. The sharply threaded, non-dented original crown winds smoothly. Please note that at the end of the approximate 31 hour power reserve, the watch was running approximately an hour and ten minutes slow. Considering the vintage nature of this watch, that it is running slow and because it has likely never been serviced (there are no watchmaker service markings on the movement or on the inside of the case back), a complete overhaul is suggested. This watch measures approximately 37.5 mm excluding the crown, approximately 40.5 mm including the crown and approximately 17.5 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 10 mm. Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 12.5 mm. This rarely seen vintage La Cloche Sub 200 two-register chronograph has a black “T SWISS MADE T” signed dial that is in pristine condition, free of any visibly noticeable scratching, tool marks, chipping or defects. Please note that there is some dust/debris on the underbelly of the crystal. The original tritium on the dial and hands, which remains fully intact and emits a quick-burst glow after being exposed to bright light, has aged to a perfectly matching warm buttermilk hue. What makes this dial special and unique, other than it being in mint condition, is that only its top half has tritium-applied markers. The acrylic bezel , which rotates bidirectionally with the appropriate amount of tension and shows moderate wear , looks great. The massive all stainless steel case is, in my humble opinion, the highlight of this watch. It is beautifully cut and in wonderful condition. The outer edge of the case back is stamped “SWISS MADE SUPER WATERPROOF GUARANTEED 20 ATU SHOCK PROOF” with “905102 S” stamped in the center. The inside of the case back is stamped 3930 A. The crystal shows scratching with some dust/debris on its underbelly. The Landeron 248 manual wind movement is exceptionally clean, runs strong keeping accurate time and all chronograph functions work as they should. The top pusher starts the sweep seconds hand and the bottom pusher stops and resets the sweep seconds and minute counter (right subdial) back to precisely 0. The pushers have a wonderful catch and release feel with no signs of gumminess. After recently winding the sharply threaded screwdown crown 53 full revolutions (phenomenal for a manual wind) the movement had an impressive power reserve of approximately 41 hours. The crown unscrews and screws back in perfectly as it should and winds beautifully. Given that this watch is approximately 45 years old and considering that the movement shows no signs of ever having been serviced (there are no visible watchmaker service markings on the inside of the case back or on the movement), a complete overhaul is recommended.
