Head KORE 99 180cm. Tyrollia Attack 13 Bindings. You will need to have the DIN setting and forward pressure adjusted. Put touring bindings on them and roast your friends to the top of the climb. Put alpine bindings on them and roast your friends back to the lift line. Put them on edge and fillet the groomer. Smear out the tails and slash the pow. It was damp, felt very planted on the snow, and most importantly absolutely ripped! Good news, the new 96 HP still feels every bit like a Kastle, just in an easier to ski package. You still get that awesome feeling of being on rails, but now I feel like I can actually ski this ski all day. New FX’s in the room. Kastle has overhauled its freeride line for 2020. The FX96 HP, which takes the place of the much loved FX95 HP, figures to be the most versatile ski in the line. The big change: metal is gone from all FX’s. Now HP denotes the presence of carbon, which winds around the wood core with fiberglass. Extra rocker plus Hollowtech 3.0, the oversized color bubbles in the tips, maintain primo maneuverability. These are some of the most playful Kastles ever, but they still have the special sauce that makes these premium skis feel uber smooth and stable as you pour one out and point it for Austria. The weight savings in the 2020 version plus the extra rocker mean that the FX is more accessible for a wider range of skiers than ever. It’s also less expensive than previous versions. Great skis, bought from Powder7 at the start of the season who rated the condition at an 8.5/10. Only skied a few days this season. Top sheets have a good amount of wear and some cosmetic damage. Bottoms of skis and edges have no major flaws and are in good condition. Skis were freshly waxed and edged after last time skied as well. These are a pair of 2020 DPS Cassiar A94 Alchemist Skis, with 2021 Tyrolia Attack 13 Bindings mounted. The skis have been used for about 40 days this year and are still in excellent condition.
