This board is in like new condition. I used the it once last year before the covid hit. I had the board professionally tuned, base, edges and waxed. The edges are true and straight without bumps or cracks. Just add the bindings and head for the mountain. I also epoxy the top edge nose seam and smoothen it all around, so no dinging or chipping. Don’t think twice about it. Some fear, or are hesitant, about a wide board. Don’t sweat it. The carbon stringers make this thing pop from turn to turn. It’s better than you are! Yes, I would recommend to a friend. However, this board RIPS at slower speed slashing, riding trees, pow stashes, laying it over for euro carves and popping off of everything. It’s easier and quicker to get on edge than my freeride board and will boost you to the moon off of rollers with that camber profile and stiffer profile than the warpig. Butters are a breeze if you’re used to a stiffer board but if you normally ride a jib noodle, it might challenge you a bit. As far as stability goes, I was very impressed with this stubby little guy. Found some super chopped up afternoon piles and the SuperPig handled them with composure and ease. Overall I could definitely recommend this pig to anyone that knows how to commit to turns and get the most out of their board. Either as a daily driver for those that would rather ride park or slash trees as opposed to charging 55 mph vertical feet chewing runs. Or the guy that wants to still have fun ripping hard carves, weaving trees and floating pow without stopping forever to wait for your slower friends. I own and ride many boards and tend to choose which board to ride depending on terrain and weather… Then I met the superpig. This board is just too much fun to ride anything else. I’m 6’2 and 175 lbs (10.5 boot), but I like to ride shorter boards as they’re more fun when riding through trees and hitting side jumps. The Superpig is simply the best board for my style of riding which is primarily freeriding while occasionally surfing on groomers. Last point, this board has better dampening than any previously owned (I’ve historically ridden GNU, Burton, and Arbor). The Pig is AWESOME. I rode the demo board last season and I get a new one for this season. The super pig is never disappointing you. Just had my first day on my new superpig, this thing absolutely flies. It is such a treat to get on edge, the tight side cut really grabs the snow and doesn’t let up. I put everything I could into this thing while carving and it stayed strong. The camber really helps to spring you between each turn. Riding switch felt pretty decent, tons of pop, super light, and nice and manuverable. I launched on side hits with ease and landing with the wide waist was really stable. I also thing the base is great, I didn’t even wax it and I was flying. It comes with a high end stone ground so make sure you keep this baby waxed! I’m 6’1, 210lbs with US 12 boots and I got the 158. I’m super happy with the size. I’m really happy I didn’t downsize because I really like to use a lot of edge angle. I think sizing up works for aggressive and strong riders, as I feel I would of had a bit of toe drag on the smaller one. At no point did I feel that the XL was too much board. For being a wide board, this thing turns on a dime. I went from having my 150 cool bean as a daily driver to this, and the difference is incredible. This board is absolutely electric and I will have one in my quiver until the day I hang up the boots. Keep killing it with the boards, Ride! This board looks sick, did a ton of research this year on what board I wanted to get and everything I have read/heard about this board is positive. I have risen tide snowboards all my life and have yet to be let down. Right out of the pack you can tell the board is made with quality, it is super light weight and wide for that float and stable feel. Super excited to shred Colorado. Would defiantly recommend a ride snowboard, no I haven’t risen this one yet but if it’s like any board Ride snowboard iv ever risen it will exceed my expectations. I’m 6’2, 175 and I demoed the 152. This board is stiff and loves to rail turns. Great board for hard pack days or after a few inches of fresh. Wouldn’t be ideal for a true powder day and was a bit slow on flat to mellow pitches. With the short design, the board rides bigger than the size states and provides a nimble ride for sure. Quick edge to edge even with the wider profile. The exaggerated contact points made it hook up really early. And that was nice at times, but other times it got a little annoying. Additionally, the base felt like it needed a good stone grind or something, it seemed really slow. Ride Super Pig its a war pig but super! This board is the jack of all trades. It’s super wide, little bit of taper, goes off park jumps, lands switch with ease, floats in pow. It pretty much does everything on the mountain in a compact package. This is the board to bring to the mountain if you plan on riding everything or dont know what you want till you get there. Also if your a bigger person with a larger foot here is an option that rides short than most. Superpig is a beast! Widest board I’ve ever been on (size XL). Camber is much more mello than expected. Was lucky to jump on the early release of this board last February and my oh my. I’ve been riding a standard Warpig the past two seasons and absolutely loved it. The Superpig is certainly an upgrade. With the camber profile as opposed to flat rocker this thing carves a level above it’s sibling. Still a surfy feeling on the deep days and a blast to toss around slush in the spring.
