The Kastle LX line receives the most updates going into season. The LX of old was a traditional camber, cap construction ski with 1 sheet of metal. The ski is still designed for intermediate riders but adds some new characteristics that make the ski much more versatile. One key update is now the ski has slight tip rocker, or early rise as they refer to it. This will allow the ski to initiate a turn much easier than the old LX. The rocker along with a slightly wider waist will also help with flotation in softer conditions. The last major update was the addition of a sidewall. The sidewall construction will now allow a much better edge hold than ever before, especially at higher speeds. A fantastic all mountain ski with a focus on the frontside- get rippin!
