This ski of course takes the place of last year’s FX84, but now comes in various packages to meet more skiers’ needs. Simply put the FX85 is a full wood core with no metal, while the HP version features 2 sheets of 0.5mm titanal. Other than offering metal and non-metal versions, the all new FX series skis now features tail rocker. This will create a much easier exit to the turn than the FX models of old. These skis have a new Kadura topsheet which is more resistant to scratching. Hollowtech 2.0 is a bigger Hollowtech oval at the tip for even greater weight reduction.
