FOR REPAIR – The time can be set and the movement will sometimes but not always start to run after the watch has been gently shaken and spun face down on a soft, flat surface (odd for this to happen with a manual wind). When the movement does fire up I’ve observed that it will keep accurate time for several minutes at a time. However, because the crown/stem doesn’t engage the movement when being wound the movement won’t stay running for any extended period of time and often times doesn’t fire up at all despite the attempts to get it going. Given this and considering that the movement shows no signs of ever having been serviced a complete overhaul is required. This vintage 1960’s Vantage diver has a glossy black dial that appears to be in pristine condition, free of any scratching, tool marks, chipping or defects. The original lume on the dial and hands, which emits a quick-burst glow on the dial only after being exposed to bright light, has aged beautifully. The black countdown bezel, which rotates bidirectionally a bit stiffly , shows wear with a deep amber colored lume pip that complements the dial and patina nicely. The all stainless steel lugholes case is in wonderful condition showing light wear and no obvious signs of oxidation. The outer edge of the case back is stamped “ANTIMAGNETIC ALL STAINLESS STEEL SHOCKRESISTANT” with “100% WATERPROOF AND CONDENSATION PROOF TESTED TO A DEPTH OF 600 FEET” stamped along the inner edge and “232900” and “TK” stamped in the center. The inside of the case back is stamped CASE MADE IN FRANCE. The crystal shows scratching and dust/debris on its underbelly. The 17 jewels manual wind movement is clean and will sometimes fire up after being gently shaken and then spun face down on a soft, flat surface (which is odd that this would happen with a manual wind). Given that the movement does not fire up with any consistency nor does it stay running for any extended period of time and considering that it shows no signs of ever having been serviced a complete overhaul is required. This vintage 1970’s Waltham day-date diver has a matte is “T SWISS T” signed dial that is in pristine condition, free of any scratching, tool marks, chipping or defects. The original tritium on the dial and hands, which remains fully intact and emits a quick-burst glow after being exposed to bright light, has aged to a perfectly matching toasted buttermilk hue. The black bezel, which rotates bidirectionally with an appropriate amount of tension, looks great. The all stainless steel case shows moderate wear and no signs of oxidation. The outside of the case back is stamped “WALTHAM ALL STAINLESS STEEL CASE – SWISS MADE” while the inside of the case back is stamped “WALTHAM WATCH” followed by “COMPANY SWISS” and B – 341. The crystal shows light scratching. The quickset date function works flawlessly by manually rolling over a new date and then moving the hour hand repeatedly between the 20 and 24 hour marks until the desired date has been reached. After recently winding the sharply threaded non-screwdown crown 40 full revolutions (phenomenal for a manual wind) the movement had a power reserve of approximately 43 hours. The crown winds beautifully. Given that this watch is more than 45 years old and considering that the movement shows no signs of ever having been serviced (there are no visible watchmaker service markings on the inside of the case back or on the movement) a complete overhaul is recommended. This watch measures approximately 36 mm excluding the crown, approximately 38.5 mm including the crown and approximately 20.5 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel is approximately 8 mm. Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 10.5 mm. Although this watch runs strong given its vintage nature and considering that the movement has likely never been serviced a complete overhaul is recommended. This rarely seen vintage Kelbert diver is an example of a watch that looks markedly better in person than in the pictures. It has a matte black “T SWISS MADE T” signed dial that is in pristine condition, free of any visibly noticeable scratching, tool marks, chipping or defects. Any imperfections seen are on the crystal not the dial. The original tritium, which emits a quick-burst glow after being exposed to bright light, has aged gracefully to a perfectly matching warm buttermilk hue. The blue bezel, which rotates smoothly bidirectionally, is in my humble opinion the highlight of this watch. It is lovely and complements the dial beautifully. The all stainless steel case is in excellent condition showing minor wear and no significant dents or dings. The outer edge of the case back is stamped “SUPERWATERPROOF 20 ATMOS INCABLOC AUTOMATIC STAINLESS STEEL” with a picture of a diver and the numbers “70 N” stamped in the center. The crystal shows light scratching. The quickset date function works flawlessly by manually rolling over a new date and then moving the hour hand repeatedly between the 20.5 and 24 hour marks until the desired date has been reached. After recently winding the sharply threaded, appropriate 5 mm screwdown crown 39 full revolutions the movement had an impressive power reserve of nearly 45 hours. The crown winds buttery smooth and screws down beautifully. FOR REPAIR – while the date and time can be set and the crown wound without issue, the movement does not run. Given this and considering that the movement appears to have been last serviced more than 30 years ago, a complete overhaul is required. This vintage Aquadive has a multicolored “T SWISS MADE T” signed dial that appears to be in pristine condition, free of any scratching, tool marks, chipping or defects. Please note that there is dust/debris on the underbelly of the crystal and to a lesser degree the dial. The original lume, which no longer glows after being exposed to bright light, has aged gracefully to a warm butterscotch hue. The minute hand is missing some lume. The silver bezel, which rotates bidirectionally a bit stiffly, shows wear. The heavy-duty all stainless steel case shows bruising with no visible signs of oxidation. The outer edge of the case back is stamped “TESTED 20 ATU ALL STAINLESS STEEL SWISS MADE WATERRESISTANT” with “5723” followed by “10906” stamped in the center. The inside of the case back is stamped NAC SALES INC. The crystal shows scratching and dust/debris on its underbelly. The 17 jewels unadjusted Swiss “NAC SALES INC” stamped ETA 2873 automatic movement with quickset date function is clean but does not run. The date and time can be set and the crown wound without issue. The quickset date function works flawlessly by unscrewing the screwdown crown, pulling it out to the first position and then turning it clockwise until the desired date has been reached. The crown screws down perfectly as it should and winds smoothly. Given that the movement does not run and considering that it was likely last serviced in the 1980’s (the lone watchmaker service marking on the inside of the case back appears to be from either 1985 or 1987) a complete overhaul is required. This watch measures approximately 38 mm excluding the crown, approximately 42 mm including the crown and approximately 18.5 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 9 mm. Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 11 mm. This watch comes on a stainless steel “HONG KONG” stamped bracelet that is in excellent condition showing little stretch and a buckle that snaps tightly shut. It will likely accommodate up to a 7 inch wrist. Given that the movement does not run and considering that it likely hasn’t been serviced in more than 30 years a complete overhaul is required. This seldom seen Baume & Mercier has a matte black “T-SWISS MADE-T” signed dial that is in pristine condition, free of any scratching, tool marks, chipping or defects. Please note that there is some dust/debris on the underbelly of the crystal and to a lesser degree the dial. The inside of the case back is stamped “MODELE” followed by MLB. The crystal shows light crazing and scratching as well as some dust/debris on its underbelly. The quickset date function works flawlessly by manually rolling over a new date and then repeatedly moving the hour hand between the 20.5 and 24 hour marks until the desired date has been reached. Vintage Dacor Divers/Diving Watch withMint Dial, Butterscotch Patina, All SS Case

This very seldom seen vintage Dacor is in beautiful original, untouched condition. The matte black “Swiss Made” signed dial is as nice a dial as I’ve ever seen. It is absolutely flawless. The original tritium on the dial’s plot markers and hands, all of which remain intact, match perfectly and has aged to a beautiful golden butterscotch hue. The tritium no longer glows after being exposed to bright light. Over the past several decades the hands have developed some corrosion. In my humble opinion they look amazing and add character and soul to the watch. The bezel rotates bi-directionally and the all stainless steel case is in wonderful condition with virtually no signs of use. According to my watchmaker the case is unpolished and the case back had never been removed prior to him doing so. The outside of the case back is engraved “SWISS MADE ANTIMAGNETIC INCABLOC ALL STAINLESS STEEL” along the outer edge with “DACOR” followed by “42134” in the center. The Spiedel stainless steel bracelet is in good shape, showing moderate stretch and it can comfortably fit a 7 inch wrist. Smaller wrists will require a link or two to be removed. The original superdome plexi crystal has some scratching that can likely be polished out. The 17 jewels AS 1701 stamped unadjusted “Dacor Corporation” signed automatic movement is pristine and keeps accurate time. The movement is also stamped KWS. After recently winding the crown 39 full revolutions the watch had a solid power reserve of approximately 41 hours. The original and sharply threaded, non-screwdown crown winds buttery smooth. Although this watch currently keeps near perfect time and the date rolls over as it should, considering that this watch is over 50 years old and likely having never been serviced (case back had never been previously opened and there are no watchmaker service markings on the inside of the case back), a complete overhaul is suggested. This watch measures approximately 35.5 mm excluding the crown, approximately 38.5 mm including the crown and approximately 18 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 8.5 mm. Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 11.5 mm. As mentioned above, although this watch is keeping accurate time and works as it should this is a vintage watch that appears to have never been serviced. As such there are no warranties, express or implied, attached with the sale of this watch. Vintage Le Gran Superautomatic Divers Watch withMint Dial, Warm Patina, All SS Case

This vintage 1970’s Le Gran Superautomatic diver has a pristine glossy black “T SWISS T” signed dial that is free of any visibly noticeable scratching, tool marks or defects. The original tritium on the dial and hands, which remains fully intact and emits a quick-burst glow after being exposed to bright light, has aged to a perfectly matching warm buttermilk hue. The bezel, which smoothly rotates bidirectionally, looks great. The heavy duty all stainless steel case shows minor wear and is free of any significant dents or dings. The case back is stamped “ALL STAINLESS STEEL – SWISS MADE – SHOCKRESISTANT – WATERRESISTANT – TESTED 333 FEET – 10 ATMOS” with “LEGRAN CO” stamped on the inside of the case back. The crystal shows light scratching. Please note that over the past several decades some dust/debris has gotten between the crystal and crystal ring, settling on the underbelly of the crystal and to a lesser degree the dial. A skilled watchmaker will be able to quickly and easily remove this dust/debris. The quickset date function works flawlessly by either pushing in on the crown or by rolling over a new date and then repeatedly moving the hour hand between the 20.5 and 24 hour marks until the desired date has been reached. After recently winding the sharply threaded, non-screwdown crown 30 full revolutions the movement had an impressive power reserve of approximately 41 hours. Although this watch runs strong and keeps near perfect time, given its vintage nature and unknown service history (there are no visible watchmaker service markings on the inside of the case back or movement), a complete overhaul is recommended to keep it running strong. This watch measures approximately 36 mm excluding the crown, approximately 39 mm including the crown and approximately 19 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 9.5 mm. Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 13 mm. Although this watch runs strong and keeps accurate time, given that it is approximately 45 years old and considering that the movement appears to have never been serviced, a complete overhaul is recommended. As such there are no warranties, express or implied, attached with the sale of this watch. Vintage means old and while my personal belief is that old-school means better quality and workmanship, things can and do go wrong from time to time. This classy vintage early 1970’s Waltham dive watch with rarely seen Explorer-style dial looks great. The smoky black satin “T Swiss Made T” signed dial looks beautiful, free of any noticeable scratching, chipping, tool marks or defects. All of the dial text and printing is intact and vibrant. The patina of the dial lume dots match the patina of the hands precisely, having aged to a warm and inviting golden buttermilk hue. The original tritium on the dial and hands, which remains fully intact, no longer glows after being exposed to bright light. The vibrant orange seconds hand gives this watch a wonderful energy. The silver bezel, which freely rotates bidirectionally, looks good. The heavy, all stainless steel case appears to be in excellent unpolished condition, showing some scratching but free of any dents, dings or oxidation/rust. The outside of the case back is engraved ALL STAINLESS STEEL CASE AUTOMATIC SWISS MADE WALTHAM. ” The inside of the case back is stamped “WATHAM WATCH Co” followed by “SWISS MADE, 17412-84-5, B339″ and “905. The integrity of the crystal is intact but there is significant scratching. Please note that while the dial appears to be in nearly flawless condition, over time some dust/debris has gotten between the crystal and crystal ring, settling on the underbelly of the crystal and onto the dial. After recently winding the original “W” signed crown 39 full revolutions the watch had a solid power reserve of approximately 38 hours. The crown winds smoothly. Considering that this watch is over 40 years old and likely hasn’t been serviced in several decades (there is a watchmaker service engraving on the inside of the case back), a complete overhaul is suggested. This watch measures approximately 36 mm excluding the crown, approximately 39 mm including the crown and approximately 18 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 10.5 mm. Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 12.5 mm. This vintage 1974 Caravelle has a matte black dial that is in pristine condition, free of any visibly noticeable scratching, tool marks, chipping or defects. The original lume on the dial and hands, which remains fully intact and emits a quick-burst glow on the hands only after being exposed to bright light, has aged to a golden buttermilk hue. The vibrant orange seconds hand complements the dial and patina beautifully. The bezel, which rotates a bit stiffly bidirectionally, is in excellent condition as is the jet black insert. The heavy duty all stainless steel case shows minor wear with the exception of a ding on the chamfer above the bottom right lug. The case shows no signs of oxidation. The outer edge of the case back is stamped “CARAVELLE SHOCK RESISTANT WATER-RESISTANT TO 666 FEET STAINLESS STEEL ANTI MAGNETIC” with “N 4″ stamped along the inner edge. The inside of the case back is stamped “3286-DP” followed by “CARAVELLE DIV, “B. The crystal shows scratching and some dust/debris on its underbelly. The 17 jewels unadjusted Japan “II DP” and “N 4″ stamped manual wind movement is clean, runs strong and keeps accurate time. After recently winding the sharply threaded, non-screwdown “C” signed crown 45 full revolutions (phenomenal for a manual wind) the movement had an impressive power reserve of approximately 41 hours. After winding the crown I’ve found it necessary to gently spin the watch face down on a soft, flat surface in order to jump-start the movement. Once it gets going I’ve observed the movement keep accurate time over an approximate 38 hour power reserve period. This vintage 1976 Bulova Caravelle diver has a gray dial that is in pristine condition, free of any visibly noticeable scratching, tool marks, chipping or defects. In my humble opinion it presents much better in person than in the pictures. The original lume on the dial and hands, which emits a quick-burst glow after being exposed to bright light, has aged to a perfectly matching warm buttermilk hue. The bezel , which should rotate but does not likely due to gunk buildup underneath , has aged to a lovely pink and black color combination. The beautifully cut all stainless steel case is in excellent condition showing minor wear and no signs of oxidation. The inside of the case back is stamped “Q 106″ followed by “CARAVELLE WATCH DIVISION, “BULOVA WATCH CO. The crystal shows scratching and some dust/debris on its underbelly. The 17 jewels unadjusted “II DP” and “N 5″ stamped manual wind movement is clean and keeps accurate time.
