Rare blue Kick, the most popular ones were orange, then green. Topsheet in good condition, with no nicks, and only a couple of light scratches. Edges in excellent condition: healthy, shiny and very sharp. Silky-smooth base, with a few professionally repaired scratches. The Kick was Damian Sanders pro model on Avalanche, designed by his brother Chris. Damian left his mark on snowboarding both, on and off the hill. Dont be fooled by the neon clothes, headbands and pink hard boots; he was a charger. Avalanche was started by Chris Sanders (Damians brother) in 1982. This board had more media coverage than any other models they produced, and Damian was the reason for it. From ballsy cliffs to laid out backflips to sending it in the pipehe could do it all, with style. If you havent seen the movie Snowboarders in Exile by Fall Line Films (1990), do yourself a favor. The footage captured the impact Damian made, far better than anything we could possibly put into words. This is a Burton Mystery Air Vintage Craig Kelly Snowboard. Comes with original Burton Air Freestyle bindings that are made in Italy. It measures approximately 62 1/4 inches long end to end. Bindings are size Med Large with an attached Burton yellow strap. From a local storage unit. Cosmetics-Clean overall for its age. It would make a pretty nice display item. Some edge and general surface wear. A few longer edge chipped areas in the covering. Looks like it was used but generally cared for otherwise. Some dirt residue from sitting in storage. The binding bodies are solid overall. The upper straps though are brittle, cracked, and falling apart. One is mostly gone and has just a detached partial chunk left. See lots of photos of what you are getting. Great for your collection. Includes the snowboard, bindings with 9 mount screws, and attached short yellow strap seen seen above. Nothing else is included. While the movement runs strong it runs fast, gaining about 5 minutes an hour. Given this and considering that the movement has likely not been serviced in several decades a complete overhaul is recommended. This classy vintage early 1970’s Waltham dive watch with rarely seen Explorer-style dial looks great. The smoky black satin “T Swiss Made T” signed dial looks beautiful, free of any noticeable scratching, chipping, tool marks or defects. All of the dial text and printing is intact and vibrant. The patina of the dial lume dots match the patina of the hands precisely, having aged to a warm and inviting golden buttermilk hue. The original tritium on the dial and hands, which remains fully intact, no longer glows after being exposed to bright light. The vibrant orange seconds hand gives this watch a wonderful energy. The silver bezel, which freely rotates bidirectionally, looks good. The heavy, all stainless steel case appears to be in excellent unpolished condition, showing some scratching but free of any dents, dings or oxidation/rust. The outside of the case back is engraved ALL STAINLESS STEEL CASE AUTOMATIC SWISS MADE WALTHAM. ” The inside of the case back is stamped “WATHAM WATCH Co” followed by “SWISS MADE, 17412-84-5, B339″ and “905. The integrity of the crystal is intact but there is significant scratching. Please note that while the dial appears to be in nearly flawless condition, over time some dust/debris has gotten between the crystal and crystal ring, settling on the underbelly of the crystal and onto the dial. After recently winding the original “W” signed crown 39 full revolutions the watch had a solid power reserve of approximately 38 hours. The crown winds smoothly. Considering that this watch is over 40 years old and likely hasn’t been serviced in several decades (there is a watchmaker service engraving on the inside of the case back), a complete overhaul is suggested. This watch measures approximately 36 mm excluding the crown, approximately 39 mm including the crown and approximately 18 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 10.5 mm. Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 12.5 mm. As mentioned above, given the vintage nature of this watch and because it is running fast and the date wheel rolls over prematurely, there are no warranties, express or implied, attached with the sale of this watch. Vintage means old and while my personal belief is that old-school means better quality and workmanship, things can and do go wrong from time to time. A full overhaul is recommended to keep this watch running strong. Any servicing costs going forward are your responsibility. And please study the 12 high magnification pictures carefully as they are part of the description and serve as an accurate representation of the condition of this watch. This Wittnauer Geneve 4000 has a matte black “T SWISS T” signed dial that is in pristine condition, free of any scratching, tool marks, chipping or defects. The original lume, which remains fully intact and no longer emits a glow after being exposed to bright light, has aged gracefully to an orange hue. The original stainless steel bezel, which does not rotate likely due to gunk buildup underneath , looks good. The all stainless steel case shows wear with no visible signs of oxidation. The outside of the case back is stamped “STAINLESS STEEL” with “WITTNAUER WATCH CO INC, “”SWISS” and “C 11 KS – 1 4000″ stamped on the inside of the case back. The crystal should be replaced. The 17 jewels unadjusted Swiss WITTNAUER WATCH Co. The quickset date function works flawlessly by repeatedly pressing firmly in on the crown until the desired date has been reached. An alternate quickset date function can be utilized by manually rolling over a new date and then repeatedly moving the hour hand between the 20 and 24 hour marks until the desired date has been reached. After recently winding the sharply threaded, non-screwdown replacement crown 38 full revolutions (impressive for a manual wind) the movement had a solid power reserve of approximately 42 hours. The crown winds smoothly. Given that this watch is more than 45 years and considering that the movement shows no clear signs of ever having been serviced (there are no visible watchmaker service markings on the inside of the case back) a complete overhaul is recommended. This watch measures approximately 37 mm excluding the crown, approximately 41 mm including the crown and approximately 19.5 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 8 mm. Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 10 mm. While the movement runs strong and keeps accurate time, given that the movement shows no signs of ever having been serviced a complete overhaul is recommended to keep it running strong. As such there are no warranties, express or implied, attached with the sale of this watch. Another pro model from z Brush: Cruzin 153. The topsheet is a throwback to the 1987 Burton Cruzer. Jeff won the Junior Slalom at the US open on the original swallow tail, destroyed the competition by eight seconds. At this event he met Jake Burton and the rest, as you guys know, is history. Brushie says this Cruzer was the second snowboard he ever had, and the first one with metal edges. The base added some new school flavor to contrast the history. The graffiti themed Burton mountain logo on the tips and a Brushie Burton tag along the base. Just add dreads and a pipe. Topsheet in good condition, with a few minor nicks and light scratches throughout. No binding rash, inserts in great condition. Metal edges in mint condition, shiny and very sharp.
