The silver satin “T SWISS MADE T” signed dial is in pristine condition, free of any scratching, tool marks, chipping or defects. Any imperfections seen are on the crystal, not the dial. The original tritium, which remains fully intact and emits a quick-burst glow after being exposed to bright light, has aged gracefully to a warm buttermilk hue. The brushed all stainless steel bezel, which rotates bidirectionally with an appropriate amount of tension, is beautiful. The all stainless steel case is in wonderful condition showing negligible wear and very minor signs of oxidation. The outer edge of the case back is stamped “WATERRESISTANT INCABLOC AUTOMATIC ALL STAINLESS STEEL SWISS MADE” with “TESTED TO 600 FEET” stamped in the center. The crystal shows light scratching. According to my watchmaker the case back on this watch had never been previously removed and the original sticker remains intact. The quickset date function works flawlessly by manually rolling over a new date and then moving the hour hand repeatedly between the 20 and 24 hour marks until the desired date has been reached. After recently winding the sharply threaded screwdown crown 39 full revolutions the movement had an impressive power reserve of approximately 41 hours. The crown winds nicely with a bit of friction and it screws down perfectly. Although the movement runs strong and keeps accurate time considering that it has never been serviced (the case back had never been removed prior to my watchmaker doing so) a complete overhaul is recommended. This watch measures approximately 38 mm excluding the crown, approximately 42 mm including the crown and approximately 19.5 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 11 mm. Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 13.5 mm. Although the movement currently runs strong and keeps accurate time considering that it has never been serviced a complete overhaul is recommended. As such there are no warranties, express or implied, attached with the sale of this watch. Vintage means old and while my personal belief is that old-school means better quality and workmanship, things can and do go wrong from time to time. Vintage early 1990s GT All Terra triple triangle 20 CrMo mountain bike frame with RockShox fork (seized), Shimano Altus C50 brake levers, Oury grips, handlebar, stem, bottom bracket, and seatpost. Frame has some scratches and missing paint, but is in great condition with no dents or dings. The included fork will need to be repaired or replaced, but the other components are in great condition. The seatpost is not stuck, but it is pretty difficult to move. All items are described to the best of my knowledge, if any item is not as I have described, please. After winding the crown I’ve found it necessary to gently spin the watch face down on a soft, flat surface in order to jump-start the movement. Once it gets going I’ve observed the movement keep accurate time over an approximate 38 hour power reserve period. This vintage 1976 Bulova Caravelle diver has a gray dial that is in pristine condition, free of any visibly noticeable scratching, tool marks, chipping or defects. In my humble opinion it presents much better in person than in the pictures. The original lume on the dial and hands, which emits a quick-burst glow after being exposed to bright light, has aged to a perfectly matching warm buttermilk hue. The bezel , which should rotate but does not likely due to gunk buildup underneath , has aged to a lovely pink and black color combination. The beautifully cut all stainless steel case is in excellent condition showing minor wear and no signs of oxidation. The inside of the case back is stamped “Q 106″ followed by “CARAVELLE WATCH DIVISION, “BULOVA WATCH CO. The crystal shows scratching and some dust/debris on its underbelly. The 17 jewels unadjusted “II DP” and “N 5″ stamped manual wind movement is clean and keeps accurate time. After winding the sharply threaded, non-screwdown crown 35 full revolutions the movement had an impressive power reserve of approximately 38 hours. While the movement runs strong and keeps accurate time, the day and date wheels do not roll over. Given this and considering that the movement shows no visible signs of ever having been serviced a complete overhaul is recommended. This seldom seen vintage Elgin day-date diver watch has a silvery champagne satin “T Swiss Made T” signed dial that is in lovely but not perfect condition, showing light markings that are difficult to see and can only be seen from certain angles. The original tritium on the dial and hands, which remains fully intact and emits a faint, short-lived glow after being exposed to bright light, has aged to a perfectly matching golden buttermilk hue. The hands show signs of oxidation which in my humble opinion adds oodles of character and the vibrant orange seconds hand gives this watch a wonderful energy. The silver bezel, which rotates bidirectionally with a bit of tension , presents as pristine. The all stainless steel case, which appears to have retained its original brushed satin finish, is in excellent condition showing minor wear and no signs of oxidation. The crystal shows scratching. The 17 jewels unadjusted Swiss “ELGIN” stamped FHF 909 automatic movement is exceptionally clean, runs strong and keeps accurate time. However, neither the day nor date wheels roll over. After winding the original non-screwdown “E” stamped crown 39 full revolutions the movement had an impressive power reserve of approximately 41 hours. Given that the day and date wheels do not roll over and considering that the movement shows no signs of ever having been serviced (there are no visible watchmaker service markings on the inside of the case back or on the movement) a complete overhaul is recommended. This watch measures approximately 39 mm including the crown and approximately 19 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 10 mm. Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 11 mm. The black 19 mm genuine MOD. SWISSMADE” Tropic strap with signature “ACIER flared buckle is in fully pliable, NOS condition. Vintage Dacor Diver withMint Dial, Warm Patina, All SS Case, AS 1701 Mvmt, Runs Strong

This very seldom seen vintage Dacor is in beautiful original, untouched condition. The matte black “Swiss Made” signed dial is as nice a dial as I’ve ever seen. It is absolutely flawless. The original tritium on the dial’s plot markers and hands, all of which remain intact, match perfectly and has aged to a beautiful golden butterscotch hue. The tritium no longer glows after being exposed to bright light. Over the past several decades the hands have developed some corrosion. In my humble opinion they look amazing and add character and soul to the watch. The bezel rotates bi-directionally and the all stainless steel case is in wonderful condition with virtually no signs of use. According to my watchmaker the case is unpolished and the case back had never been removed prior to him doing so. The outside of the case back is engraved “SWISS MADE ANTIMAGNETIC INCABLOC ALL STAINLESS STEEL” along the outer edge with “DACOR” followed by “42134” in the center. The Spiedel stainless steel bracelet is in good shape, showing moderate stretch and it can comfortably fit a 7 inch wrist. Smaller wrists will require a link or two to be removed. The original superdome plexi crystal has some scratching that can likely be polished out. The 17 jewels AS 1701 stamped unadjusted “Dacor Corporation” signed automatic movement is pristine and keeps accurate time. The movement is also stamped KWS. After recently winding the crown 39 full revolutions the watch had a solid power reserve of approximately 41 hours. The original and sharply threaded, non-screwdown crown winds buttery smooth. Although this watch currently keeps near perfect time and the date rolls over as it should, considering that this watch is over 50 years old and likely having never been serviced (case back had never been previously opened and there are no watchmaker service markings on the inside of the case back), a complete overhaul is suggested. This watch measures approximately 35.5 mm excluding the crown, approximately 38.5 mm including the crown and approximately 18 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 8.5 mm. Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 11.5 mm. As mentioned above, although this watch is keeping accurate time and works as it should this is a vintage watch that appears to have never been serviced. As such there are no warranties, express or implied, attached with the sale of this watch.
