OF THOSE TWO ONE IS FOR REPAIR AND THE OTHER HAS BEEN FOOLED WITH DOESN’T HAVE THE CORRECT BACK PLATE.. MOST ARE JUNK WITH PARTS FROM OTHER WATCHES OR HAVE RE-PAINTED DIALS. Beware of repainted Seiko Dials not in the description/Most from India. Word to the wise, Caveat. ATTENTION COLLECTORS OR SEIKOHOLICS. THIS IS A 17 JEWEL AUTOMATIC IN ALL ORIGINAL MINT CONDITION. NO AFTERMARKET PARTS OR RE-TOUCHING. DON’T MISS YOUR CHANCE TO OWN ONE OF SEIKO’S MOST ICONIC AND COLLECTIBLE WATCHES. THE WATCH FEATURES A BLACK DIAL WITH WHITE INDICES. AN A YELLOW CHRONO HAND AS WELL AS SUB-DIAL MINUTE COUNTER. THESE IS STILL SOME LUME. THE INNER CHRONO DIAL IS A LIGHT BLUE TO GIVE THE WATCH A HANDSOME CONTRAST. THERE IS A WHITE INNER SECONDS TRACK, WHICH REALLY MAKES THE DIAL STAND OUT. THE DIAL IS THE UNTOUCHED ORIGINAL IN VERY RARE MINT CONDITION WITH NO REAL SIGNS OF AGE. THERE IS A DAY-DATE DISPLAY AT 3 O’CLOCK THAT IS SET USING QUICKSET VIA THE STAINLESS STEEL CROWN. THE DAY DISPLAY IS IN ENGLISH AND IN KANJI. THE HANDS ARE THE ORIGINAL WHITE STICK HANDS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. THE ORIGINAL GLASS CRYSTAL IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE ORIGINAL STAINLESS STEEL CASE IS UNTOUCHED AND IS IN INCREDIBLE CONDITION. THE STAINLESS STEEL BACK PLATE IS IN SUPER CONDITION WITH NO TOOL MARKS OR SCRATCHES. ALL MARKINGS ARE CLEAR AND COMPLETE. THE ORIGINAL SEIKO STAINLESS STEEL BRACELET WAS NOT USABLE AS SOME LINKS WERE BROKEN AND STRETCHED IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION AND WILL FIT UP TO A 8 WRIST , AS IT’S NEW AND NEVER BEEN SIZED. THIS WATCH WAS SERVICED 6 WEEKS AGO, AND IS RUNNING VERY WELL. IT IS A MEN’S SIZED WATCH AT 40 MM ACROSS, NOT INCLUDING THE CROWN OR PUSHERS, x 42 MM LUG TO LUG. MANUFACTURED IN APRIL 1973. THANKS TO MY FRIEND GLENN FOR THE EXCELLENT DESCRIPTION. BECAUSE IT IS A VINTAGE AUTOMATIC WATCH, THERE IS GOING TO BE DIMINISHED RESERVE POWER(HOW LONG IT RUNS WHEN IT IS TAKEN OFF THE WRIST). THIS IS A VERY COMMON ISSUE WITH MOSTLY ALL VINTAGE AUTOMATICS.. MANY NEW ONES CAN GET UP TO 40HRS RUNNING OFF THE WRIST. DO NOT EXPECT MORE THEN 8-12 HRS RUNNING WHEN OFF. Please remember these are NOT new automatic watches even though they were serviced, you will have to gently shake the watch in a clockwise or counter clockwise movement to get the rotor working properly. This is especially true when the watch has not been worn for some time. Reserve power has to build up for sometime to keep the watch running when not worn.. JUST A PERSONAL NOTE ABOUT THIS WATCH. DURING THIS TIME I HAVE FOUND OUT THAT I CANNOT MAKE EVERYBODY HAPPY lol.. NOT RE-LUMED AND UN-TOUCHED OTHER THEN SERVICE. This watch was recently timed and serviced. The stainless and brushed satin case has been left un-polished. It shows original condition as excellent. All wording on case back is. With almost no wear. Quite rare considering the watche’s age. As collectors and people that value vintage watches know, the value of the watch is much higher left un- polished. It is a terrific value for a classic timepiece. It will continue for years to come, to be an accurate and handsome, functional classic watch. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS SEIKO IS THE REAL THING. JUST A WORD TO THE WISE.. KNOCK OFFS ARE A HUGE BUSINESS–CAVEAT EMPTOR AT LEAST I KNOW WHAT’S INSIDE MY WATCHES AND WHERE THEY COME FROM.
