The Experience 76 is a fantastic first ski for those who are looking to learn and improve their skills. It would also work as a fantastic upgrade ski for casual skiers who may be more skilled, but simply want a ski that makes it easy to cruise the groomed trails, or occasionally venture off trail. Discover the entire resort with confidence. The Experience 76 ski blends on-trail carving with a playful feel for all-resort skiing. The confidence-boosting control of our Drive Tip design works with the sidecut for smooth turn initiation and a controlled finish to each turn. When you choose used, you’re getting them for a fraction of the cost of new skis, and you’re helping keep great gear in circulation longer. New skiers, cautious skiers, casual skiers. A shorter ski somewhere around chin level or up to nose level can make learning and turning easier. More experienced skiers, aggressive skiers. A longer ski somewhere around nose level or up to forehead level can provide stability and better control at higher speeds. If you have a tape measure in cm, we recommend measuring to chin, nose, and forehead level, and then picking a size in the appropriate range. Don’t stress too much! As long as you’re in the ballpark, we think you’ll have a great time on the slopes. Prefer to use a size chart? Every skier will have different needs and preferences, but here’s a rough recommendation. 4’4 – 136 (intermediate to advanced). 4’6 – 136 (intermediate to advanced). 4’8 – 136 (beginner to intermediate), 144 (advanced). 4’10 – 136 (beginner), 144 (intermediate), 152 (advanced). 144 (beginner), 152 (intermediate), 160 (advanced). 152 (beginner), 160 (intermediate), 168 (advanced). 160 (beginner), 168 (intermediate), 176 (advanced). 6’0 – 168 (beginner), 176 (intermediate to advanced). 6’2 – 176 (beginner to intermediate). The bindings on these skis are adjustable, and are compatible with nearly any modern adult downhill ski boot. Exact details below, if you need to verify your boot compatibility. Look XPress 10 GW bindings. Fits boots with either a classic or a newer GripWalk sole. Fits boots with a Boot Sole Length (BSL) ranging from 260-380mm on most boots you can find the BSL stamped on the side of the heel. Please note this is different than boot size. Adjusts to a DIN setting of 2.5-10. If you happen to have a specialty boot like one made for telemark skiing or ski touring, please note these bindings will not be compatible. These bindings can be adjusted every time you need to use them with a different pair of boots. We strongly recommend you have these adjustments performed by a certified ski technician. These skis have been used for approximately 3 seasons in the rental program at a high end resort in Park City. For former rental skis, these are remarkably good! But please keep in mind that they ARE used, and will show cosmetic signs of wear. On the tops, please expect some scuffing and sticker residue, and up to approximately one inch of chipped topsheet material per ski along the edges (cosmetic, does not impact performance). For the bases, these have been used approximately 10-15 times on average since their last full tune. There will be some shallow cosmetic scratches, but nothing deep requiring attention. Edges are ready for most snow conditions, but if you have a particularly icy home resort you may prefer to sharpen them. We want you to be happy with your choice of skis! If you have any questions about these skis, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Thank you for your consideration!
