This is a superb Heuer R110.203B Daytona chronograph. Daytona is one of the more interesting Heuer Chronographs from the 1970s. Fully functional and in excellent condition. One would be hard pressed to find a nicer example at any price. Case: Brushed, machined from a solid block of stainless steel; 39 mm without crown. Case back: Brushed with polished edge stainless steel, screw down; model and serial numbers crisp. Crown: Heuer signed, stainless steel, push-in. Original, fluted, polished stainless steel. Crystal: Non-scratched nor marked, clear, acrylic crystal. Dial: Genuine and unrestored dial. The distinguishing feature of the Daytonas dial is the subtle dégradé finish, meaning that the center of the dial is a lighter color that gradually becomes darker as you move towards the outer edge. Daytona dials are prone to fading, discoloration and deterioration. This example is in excellent condition. Movement: Powering the Daytona is Heuers own Calibre 12 Chronomatic microrotor movement. Bracelet: Original, finely brushed stainless steel, integrated with case. Clasp: Heuer signed, double security, fold-over stainless steel. Excuse my somewhat dull photos. Watch is in excellent all original condition and runs perfect (amplitude of 310, and dead accurate with no loss of time when tested on machine). This is a perfect watch for a collector as its complete with everything down to the stickers that were removed and stuck to hang tags. Watch is only going up in value as this watch will most likely be discontinued in the near future. In our opinion, this is the most under valued Daytona model in Classic all yellow gold and desirable white dial. Watch was cleaned, tested and timed by certified Rolex service.
