Volkl Mantra 170cm 133-96-116 r=23.6m all-mountain partial twin-tip skis with Marker Griffon bindings. Skis have some scratches and small chips around the edges of the top sheets, but are in excellent super clean condition with smooth bases and straight edges. Bindings have been inspected and are good functional condition, though some shops refuse to work on older models. Concerned buyers are required to do their own research. But in the coming season, the newly designed ski body will, for the first time, be adapted to a 3D radius sidecut concept with a tailored Titanal frame. By adapting the Titanal components to the various ski lengths and thus to the skier’s proportions, not only can the tip and tail ends be weight-optimised, but the torsional stiffness can also be influenced, thereby improving the ride qualities. This retains the familiar stability of a Titanal ski while also making the Mantra M6 noticeably lighter and more agile to control. The dedicated positioning of the carbon fibres results in a precise tip response and vastly improves the ski’s torsional stiffness. Very nice Used Volkl Mantra M5 skis 170cm All Mountain

I skied on these the past two seasons… Maybe 25 times or so. They DO NOT come with bindings but can be mounted again up to two more times. They were just professionally sharpened and waxed at my local Ski shop. There are scratches and some cosmetic marks on them from skiing hard but nothing structural… Plenty of life left in them for you to enjoy for years to come! These are great all mountain skis that do everything well!! You can rip on the groomers and also drop the back bowls… ! The Völkl M5 Mantra Skis put camber back into the equation and dropped the weight by using a Titanal Frame construction with metal only around the perimeter of the tip and tail rather than two full wall-to-wall sheets. The result merited a hearty thumbs up from just about every tester we know. This ski remains unchanged for the season but for minor graphic tweaks and we’re glad it does.
