Looking for a reliable pair of skis for your wintertime adventures? Check out these Armada Zero Stranger Skis, perfect for freeriding and designed with top-of-the-line features. These men’s skis are 172 cm in length with an adjustable binding size, making them versatile for a range of skiers. Their 100 mm waist width ensures stability and control on the slopes, while the colorful design adds a fun touch to your winter sports gear. Plus, these skis come with demo bindings included for your convenience. I ripped these for two seasons and have recently moved onto tele’s. Happy to pass on a virtually one ski quiver! The tip of the right ski does have a little bit of wax damage as it dug into a rock once but it does not affect the skis performance at all. All the black on the bottom is black wax because I didn’t have clear wax when tuning these skis. Still have a lot of life and edge left so the next person should enjoy these to the extreme.

Armada Stranger Men’s Skis 172cm, 180cm NEW 2022

Armada Stranger Men's Skis 172cm, 180cm NEW 2022

Armada Stranger Men's Skis 172cm, 180cm NEW 2022
Despite its name, the 2022 Armada Stranger ski is no stranger to the mixed terrain and snow conditions found at your local resort. The Armada Stranger is a directional twintip designed to satisfy the needs of skiers that are open to skiing anything and everything. A poplar core with ash stringers give the Stranger a forgiving yet snappy flex, which is perfect playing around the entire resort. This ski really resonates with skiers that might be more freestyle or freeride oriented but that’s not to say that these are the only skiers that would enjoy the Stranger. With a fairly forgiving flex and a 100 millimeter waist, the Stranger would make a great all-mountain option for a lot of skiers. It welcomes expert skier who tend to be more aggressive but it is still very user friendly. A tight radius, thanks to the ski’s generous sidecut, gives the ski a quick edge to edge feel despite its width, which makes it a blast on groomers. Its twin rocker profile provides a lot of maneuverability which makes the ski super easy to use in a lot of different terrain. Armada’s Springboard Tail and edgeless butterzone up the extremities of the ski make popping and buttering around the mountain easy and fun. Overall, the Stranger is designed to make the most out of the fairly average conditions most of us experience on a daily basis at our home resort. For skiers looking for something versatile and playful, but more directional than a traditional twin tip, the Armada stranger would hit that sweet spot. It would even be a great choice for the aging park skier looking to slowly transition into more all-mountain skiing. Sidecut: 138/100/120 millimeters at 180 centimeter length. Turn Radius: 15.8 meters at 180 centimeter length. Polar Ash wood core. 2.5 Impact Edge. Ability Level: Advanced Intermediate to Expert.
