Despite having “Race” in the name, These are NOT racing skis (Elan uses the term “Race” for marketing purposes only to make the skis seem “cool”). This is a beginner to intermediate ski that is forgiving as well as easy to control which facilitates turn initiation. Sidecut specs are 114/71/103 (Radius 14.7 m). The snakeskin topsheet resists wear and chipping. The skis are mounted with new Look Nova bindings (DIN range 3-10) which are adjustable to fit 315-335 mm boot sole lengths (which normally is mondo 27-29.5).
