Mens vintage IWC in 18K solid gold from 1968 in mint, original condition and running well. One of the cleanest examples I’ve ever seen in 45 years of collecting. Case is immaculate with case lines so crisp you could almost cut yourself. Look at pictures of lug edges and case bezel. The case is approximately 34mm and marked inside of the caseback and on the back of the lugs as 18K. The outside of the case back has the original satin finish. This one has never been buffed or prettied up and there are a couple of tiny marks on the back of one of the lugs. Dial is excellent and completely original. Never refinished or restored. Like it came out of the factory. Ivory colored with gold colored hands and markers. Script is clean, crisp and clear. Crystal is clear with a couple of light scuffs, barely noticeable. Movement is the caliber 402. 17 jewels and adjusted to 3 positions. It doesn’t look like the movement was ever worked on and it is bright with no visible signs of corrosion, fingerprints or scratches. It is fairly pristine. I have no service history and always suggest service for every day use. You won’t find a cleaner movement. This one is collectible. Very, very little wear. The pricing is based on condition of this watch from one of the finest watchmakers in Europe. Please look at pictures carefully as they are part of the description.
